CONNOISSEUR MEDIA’S CONNECTICUT RADIO GROUP & WFSB CHANNEL 3 TO AIR JOINT SPECIAL ”FACE THE STATE: A CONVERSATION ABOUT RACE & JUSTICE IN CONNECTICUT”

ROCKY HILL/MILFORD, CT – June 10, 2020 – Longtime partners WFSB Channel 3 and Connoisseur Media are joining forces to deliver a live broadcast about race and justice featuring community leaders in Connecticut.  The duo will broadcast the special across their entire statewide platform which includes Connecticut’s #1 local news, Channel 3 Eyewitness News and all six of Connoisseur Media’s award-winning radio stations. The combined force creates an unprecedented simulcast using the power of radio, television and digital which will reach viewers and listeners wherever they are.     

The broadcast will air live at 7pm on Thursday June 11th and will be co-hosted by Dennis House who anchors Eyewitness News at 5pm and 6pm as well as Face the State on Sunday.  Joining Dennis will be Juan Castillo the Operations Manager and afternoon drive host on 94.3 WYBC.  Kicking off the special broadcast will be Chaz from “Chaz & AJ in the Morning” which airs on 99.1 WPLR and 95.9 The Fox. 

The conversation will include Governor Ned Lamont, Connecticut NAACP President Scot Esdaile, Chief of Police City of Milford, President Connecticut Police Chiefs Association Keith L. Mello, and Assistant United States Attorney Ndidi N. Moses.

The broadcast can be heard live on air on WFSB Channel 3, and on all six Connoisseur radio stations: WPLR 99.1 (Rock), WEZN STAR 99.9 (Hot AC), 94.3 WYBC (Urban Adult Contemporary), WEBE 108 (Adult Contemporary), WICC 600 (News Talk) and 95.9 The Fox (Rock).  The broadcast can also be heard on all station’s websites, apps, and smart speakers.
